Forum Post: Danny's Strategy and the Draft
Posted 04/21/2015 05:52:20 EDT
Drafting IS all about luck. How many top 5 picks were flops. How many great players came out of the top 10 in the draft. Drafting is a crap shoot. The higher you pick the greater CHANCE you have o more »

I think he needs to move up to get the bettrer players, the right players. Use players and any picks we have to get a big and SF, and then see what you can get in FA to round outthe team. If that is more »

I really want a stay at home 5...a banger...a rebounder...a shot blocker and low post scorer. I really hate this trend for stretch 4's and 5's. Choke the lane, force outside jumpers, run at those ju more »

C and SF.....C and SF....get the right guys DA!

I would focus on WCS and a SF who can score easily and often, while not being a huge liability on D. With Smart, Bradley, and WCS our D would be much improved, but scoring punch is needed. At this p more »

I can't imagine that he would break down so bad if he played 40-60 games at C, and 60-80 games at 1st. We can easily cover the games at first with Nava/Craig/Papi, and Vic and Nava get all the pinch more »

I think it likely Vic starts on the DL anyhow, so they can put off the decision on how to make a hole on the roster for everyone. Would have been nice if Napoli could have played BU C every 3rd or 4t more »

I had a thought. The "edelmen" rule change. I heard it as if 3rd party guy sees a woozzy player trying to play the next play, he can call an officials time out, and the player must be replaced. The more »

Would the Pats then file a colusion charge on the Jets for the owners comments earlier this year.

Mayo is a good LB if he is healthy. He has also been overpaid the last couple of years due to injury. Because of injuries no one really knows what his production will be next year and beyond. That more »

If mayo is healthy he starts and the pats go back to a more traditional 3-4, rather then the 5-2ish type they had. He would replace the third DT type on most plays. Hightower in the middle and colli more »
