With AHL rosters over 900k counting against the cap, the cap dropping to 64 mill next season, and Horton, Rask, Ference, Caron, and Khubodin needing contracts, things WILL get interesting next summer. more »

That's the advantage of having 4 solid lines to roll out. Most teams have 2 scoring lines. Therefore, teams like the Caps have 2 defensive lines to stop those two scoring lines. And have no answer for more »

Ovechkin did everything he could to avoid unnesseccary penalties. Good on him. If he was able to stop Backstrom's cross check, I'm sure he would have. But he was on his back because Pevs tripped him, more »
