  • Forum Post: Bobby V is management's puppet

    Posted 03/01/2012 07:54:37 EST

Valentine a puppet of Lucchino's ?    It's part of the condition that he got a managerial job to begin with.

    Posted 02/29/2012 06:33:33 EST

Can't do it.     Ortiz will sulk and whine saying he's not appreciated and cause disruption on the team.

  • Forum Post: Bench Coach Varitek right now!!

    Posted 02/29/2012 06:29:19 EST

The Sox are at the limit for what a team can have as coaches.     If he wanted the job as pitching coach, he should have retired as a player and approached Lucchino when Curt Young was let go.

Why not start Iglesias ?    A stong glove and a weak bat has been known all along.   Dave Magadan is supposedly the hitting coach.    Have him spend whatever time it takes to correct the battings flaw more »
