  • Forum Post: Let's talk about Brian Johnson.

    Posted 08/29/2014 06:36:35 EDT

Ya i think johnson tends to fly under the radar even though he has been great this year. He should be in pawtucket right now, not sure why he is in AA at this point, nothing left to prove there.

  • Forum Post: Sox/Dodger trade retrospective

    Posted 08/26/2014 03:28:47 EDT

i think its safe to say we won that trade. Agonz has been good, which was expected. Beckett had some good starts for the dodgers this year but has mostly been useless and crawford is just terrible. We more »

  • Forum Post: When did Cheringto take over as bench manager?

    Posted 08/26/2014 03:22:06 EDT

honestly at this point cherington would probably do a better job than farrell as bench manager. Farrell lost all credibility and continues to do so by playing the likes of holt and nava during a lost more »

The problem wasn’t so much clay as it was brock holt. Holts lack of defensive abilities cost buchholz the win.  We had one out and a runner on, and holt for some reason ran right into pedroias field more »

  • Forum Post: Who do you package Vazquez or Swihart?

    Posted 08/25/2014 12:09:58 EDT

I think vasquez would have to be the one to deal of the two. Swihart is a switch hitting, defensively sound catcher with a really good arm. Check out his caught stealing %, current at 47% this year. B more »

So I think its safe to say that webster should be on his way down to pawtucket after this one. Call up ranuado and keep him up, then call up barnes or johnson for the other spot. Neither workman or we more »

  • Forum Post: Enough of Workman, Where is Ranaudo?

    Posted 08/24/2014 06:06:19 EDT

i could agree more, workman just gets rocked every time out now. Its getting to the point where farrell and co need to wake up and move the guy to the pen where he excelled last postseason and at the more »

  • Forum Post: Is it Owens time?

    Posted 08/24/2014 04:39:32 EDT

I don’t think its time for owens yet, ranaudo and barnes are ahead of him at this point in terms of eta. Hopefully farrell and co come to there senses and move workman to the pen and give his spot i more »

  • Forum Post: Gordon Edes: Don't laugh -2015 Giancarlo Stanton & Chris Sale in a Sox uniform? Thoughts?

    Posted 08/24/2014 12:28:05 EDT

I honestly think sale would be much more likely than stanton at this point. The need for pitching is there and it sounds like the white sox would actually deal him given that they have tons of needs t more »

This is why we should have hembree up, might as well let him close out some games, see if he could be the closer of the future, rest koji in the process. (and rest taz as well) I don’t get it, hembr more »

Although clay didn’t pitch well tonight, you have to give a good chunk of the blame to daniel nava. he really killed clays chances of getting out of the 6th inning. Letting the ball hit by navarro d more »

watching daniel nava play rf is just painful. He literally has no range and unless the ball is hit right to him, he won’t get to it. The ball that navarro hit should have been caught, nava being as more »

    Posted 08/19/2014 05:41:44 EDT

I think if the sox felt ball would be more successful as an outfielder they would have drafted him to be one. I think they are committed to ball as a starter and he has pitched better since july so th more »
