If we go into next season with buchholz as the #3, we are in for a long year. He simply cannot be trusted at this point  as anything more than a #4.

lol this has to be the worst idea I have heard this so far this offseason, michael cuddyer is not someone we need in the least. We have napoli and craig already, no need for an even older 1B. Lets foc more »

The question is though, would it make more sense to sign someone like martin to say a 2 year deal and let swihart continue to develop for another year and trade vasquez (who is a valuable chip) for a more »

ya i agree sandoval makes alot of sense, he is relative young (will be 28 next year), a switch hitter, has great playoff stats, plays good d, and hits in the clutch. I agree with what someone said abo more »

cueto or sale shoud be our top target this offseason. One of those 2 plus signing lester/Scherzer would fill the top 2 spots.

lol as much as i think we need to get rid of vic, no way would i do that deal. I would rather use vic as a 4th outfielder than trade him for colon.

anyone who thinks we only need 2 starters and can rely on buchholz as our #3 starter is crazy. We need 3 starters, as buchholz cannot be trusted as more than a #4 starter at this point. As I pointed o more »

One other thing to consider when looking at the market for starters, is who will be free agents after the 2015 season. The 2016 pitcher could feature david price, mat latos, johnny cueto, and jordan z more »

Im fine with trading for hamels, but no way would I give up betts in a deal to get him. If we trade one of the catchers (vasquez would be my choice), either middlebrooks or cecchini and margot, then s more »

I think the case can be made that we need 3 starters. Think about our team last year and entering this year, we had lester, lackey and peavy as our top 3, then buchholz and a slew of #5's. So going in more »

I do think peter abrhams pretty spot on in terms of the line up with the exception of craig starting over mookie. I think the sox would be hard pressed to deal mookie. He has settled in nicely into th more »
