    Posted 06/13/2013 06:27:08 EDT

I don't believe if Bias had lived that he'd have made a huge impact for Boston. It would have all depended on just how bad his drug use was.  A better one would be what if Bias was a clean athlete?  1 more »

Duncan didn't have the serious knee injury that Garnett suffered. Could be argued that injury cost the Celtics a trip to the Finals in 2009. They were the form team in the NBA at the time of the injur more »

    Posted 06/07/2013 09:08:42 EDT

Green is always at best a very good third option on a team. Showed some improvement offensively this season, and is a natural 3. Still peformed well at 4 in OKC which does show his versatility. Year o more »

    Posted 06/07/2013 09:02:36 EDT

I still believe and have for a long while that it'd generate supremely bad Karma for Boston to part ways with Pierce.  I doubt he'd retire with the money that he's owed for this season. But he really more »

The guy has major attitude problems. I wouldn't sign him. Has all the talent in the world, and is one of the best centres in the NBA.  Has no maturity and in 20 years time he'll regret the lost opport more »

    Posted 06/07/2013 08:57:00 EDT

Pick a team of 8. Pick anyone on this team but leave off Russell. Build an opposing team with Russell and I'd bet the house on the Russell led team winning a 7 game series. When you think it's Russell more »

  • Forum Post: Phil Jackson would choose Russell over Jordan

    Posted 05/25/2013 07:12:23 EDT

True, but I don't put him in the same class as the other elite players.  Certainly had that something extra like the other champions. Was their leader but he didn't have the same qualities as Magic an more »

    Posted 05/25/2013 06:58:00 EDT

Jordan has a massive publicity machine behind him. I'd rank Russell, Magic and Bird ahead of him. All of them made their team mates into better players. A case against Jordan is how well the Bulls per more »

  • Forum Post: If KG Retires Should His Jersey (#5) Be Hung In The Rafters?

    Posted 05/19/2013 12:41:54 EDT

Yes. The Timberwolves should retire #21 as well seeing he's the greatest player in the team history.  As others have said, the Celtics have retired a lot of numbers. Some more deserving than others. L more »

  • Forum Post: Should Chris Broussard and such fossils be fired for their outdated views on JASON COLLINS?

    Posted 05/01/2013 09:11:38 EDT

Good on Jason Collins for this. But personally I wish we lived in a world/society where labels just don't matter. All I care about is if someone is a decent person. Don't care what their sexual orient more »
