Never count them out. Particularly when they play us. I'd rather meet anyone else in the 1st round.

Jersey signed by Esposito and Hodge!

Good posts. Think how good this team could be if Horton, Kreiji and Savard start scoring. Getting hot just before the playoffs would be fine.

Dezaruchi - for sure Phillips isn't an offensive defenceman but its not like Savy is burning it up either. Would be able to package another D and someone else for a forward (rental)?

Phillips in Ottawa will be dealt (UFA) and Savard has the Sens on his trade list. Good to shore up our D for a playoff run and rids us of a long term contract.

Maybe if they were more aggressive in their own end, they'd be able to spend more time in the offensive zone. We'll see how those goals against stats work in the playoffs.

I agree with you lemmadoc. Even when they're five on five, they hold their position like they're on the PK. Look at the shots on net they're giving up now. I'm sure if they were more aggressive, they more »

Middelton you've got it right. Bring Caron up. Look at Kampfer, this guy looks great. Who else is down in Providence that would work harder than our current bunch? more »

I agree with you. It's hard to believe that Neeley can sit and watch this mess and not do anything about it. Most of the posts here talk about no heart so what's it going to take? A change in scenery more »

Kinda kills the cliche that you have to play for 60 minutes. Just 2 or 3 against my Bruins is enough. Pathetic. more »

As a B's fan living in Ottawa, I've seen Neil alot and he's not what we need. From Ottawa, I'd take Mike Fisher before anyone else on that team more »

For me the Habs are the acid test for the Bruins. How they fare is the barometer for how good or bad this team really is. So far, not so good. Tonight better be a different result even withour Horton more »

With Sturm on LTIR ($3.5M) we can afford to sign both (we also need to sign Campbell) and let it ride to see if Sturm actually comes back. With injuries during the year, we may not have to deal anyone more »
