Forum Post: Time to Bench Salty
It's been a rough ride with Salty but it does feel like he's finally earning his keep. I don't think he will ever be that perennial all-star that he was once thought to be when traded for Mark Teixei more »

Forum Post: Iglesias and his bat...
I think most on here (I remain optimistic on all your baseball souls) can acknowledge that Iggy is both lucky and improving at the same time.

Forum Post: Iglesias and his bat...
Iggy could go 0-200 and still have a higher average than last year. I don't see Iglesias dropping below .250. He's so far ahead plus his improved approach at the plate I just don't see him dipping b more »

Forum Post: How is it that Farrell Leaves Doubront in for 120 pitches on bad starts, but takes him out after 93 tonight?
If there was ever an example of when to leave someone in, tonight was that night.

Forum Post: Iglesias and his bat...
FWIW Iglesias' LD % has doubled since his first stint this season. I don't know if any other player (that I can think of at least). Has ever had a season like Iglesias is having. He was horrible the more »

You can see some of these guys now in Lowell as short season baseball has started yesterday. One name to look out for down there (not draft related) is Manuel Margot, a potential 5 tool player with a more »

In response to BurritoT-'s comment:
This thread was only meant to make fun of the "Reddick hits #__ homerun" threads from 2012..... I am always surprised at how lame you guys can be.

People forget that Drew plays a premium position. So if you hate him, you must try to realize he is likely going to get more in the open market than some of you think. Take Salty for example. Whatev more »

Salty isn't going anywhere. I could see the Sox looking to upgrade at the catching position but the bar is set so low there and there are slim options to replace him that I just see him staying. Lav more »

K is just an out. Power and hit tool can even out a lot of strikeouts. If a guy has a high ops I could care less how he gets out.
