I disagree -- I would attend both events and it was notable enough that the golf writer has a story accompanying this piece.

I agree. I want more people to be able to afford to travel by car -- which strictly dominates public transportation -- to go to better-paying jobs or to spend money on leisure or whatever else.

Seems like a bad idea to have it the same weekend as the PGA Tour Deutsche Bank Championship. Trying to get corporate sponsorships and attendance at two events will be challenging.
