Yes, Brigham's factory was in Arlington. By the way, Medford is not "farther out" than Arlington.

There about 10 single families on the market now in Medford for under $350K. Almost all are 2 bedrooms that are very small (one is 624 sf) and/or need quite a bit of work. That's a hard price point to more »

Actually, after reading this it does not seem bad. It's hard to get tickets for the top-tier games anyway. The low-tier games are cheaper, so for people who just want to go to the game for the fun and more »

Count me in for the "move-in-to-Boston dream". Have no desire to move to the 'country" or far away. It would be nice to have a pied a terre in a warm climate, though.

When the Green Line is built to Tufts it will no doubt help values on part of the Hillside and parts of South Medford as this area will become a good alternative to Cambridge and Davis. If it extends more »

This is overkill. Every single apartment does not need to be inspected. Most landlords are fine. As it is all the power is with the tenant now. They can call inspectional services for any little thing more »

No there is not. But, the West Medford station can be walked to from some sections of Arlington, although it could be a bit of a walk.

I have some first-hand knowledge of the rental market in Boston and believe me, there are quite a few single 20-somethings that can afford $1500 a month. Of course, there are many that can't, too.

I think $1,500 for such a small space is pretty expensive. But, that said, these units are not competing with condos in Natick. They are competing with an apartment with roomate and studios apartments more »

To summarize what Caramel said, Everett basically has all the negatives of Somerville without any of the positives. The casino would be isolated from the rest of Everett and will not transform it. Tak more »

I really don't think they are buying this for an investment. it's the convenience. They don't care about the money.
