    I felt really, really good about Bergevin's moves. With Stanley's comments, I feel even better about them.

    Vanek's deal is 3 years, 19.5M. It was a 7yrs / 50M deal that he turned down from NYI during the season. Oops.   And the other guy in that trade, Matt Moulson, agrees to return to Buffalo; 5 yrs x 5M. more »

    Habs picked up Jiri Sekac from the KHL. He's been generating a lot of buzz lately, but who knows if he can play in the NHL. We'll see.

    Habs trade Gorges to Buffalo for 2nd rounder. I'll reserve judgment on this until the dust settles, but I liked Gorges a lot, and he was a real character player.
