The main difference is that you in the burbs have a place to put the snow. We may have to walk each shovel full a hundred feet to a communal pile, and my guess is you use a snow blower. more »

Meter Parking downtown should be market rate, as Don Shoup book suggests a lot of the traffic congestion are people circling to find low cost meter spaces. more »

On my street there are 12 cars that are buried in the snow banks that clearly have been there since the 1st storm, allmost a month ago. I do not think anyone who does not move a car in a month really more »
