Here's Ridley's stats. No fumbles in 2014 albeit only 6 games. The stats show both total fumbles and fumbles lost - zero on both.

I agree that Vereen is at his best as an offensive threat as a receiver out of the backfield. $3M (however the cap gurus configure it) per seems right to me.
