3rd game in 4 nights on the road... they looked sluggish at times as they did against.San Jose (also the 3rd in 4 on the road).  Not an excuse but I bet not too many NHL teams have a stellar record  i more »

Chara, Hamilton, DK, Bergeron, Marchand would be my 5.  March is a lot more versatile than Lucic.  If one had to go from my 5, then it would be March.

First 10 games...Soderberg and Kelly DK had a point a game for the 10 he played in.  Dang, they really miss him. Brad has been very good in 20 of the 30. Dougie has also been good for roughly the same more »

Wait it out.  Get DK back... and Lucic plays better.  This will.help the PB line even more as teams then need to chose which line to shut down.  It also creates a mismatch on 3rd line where Soderberg more »

This team struggles without DK.  This was apparent when they blew a 3 game lead to Philly before the Cup year.  There was also a big spell of .500 hockey the last time he was inactive a few years ago. more »

I would trade him for Hall in a second. I watched Lucic live against San Jose and he was awful.  In fact, he was the worst player on the ice.  Their line got totally dominated and Lucic was terrible i more »

A few points here... I like Loui on the 3rd line; they will be better than most 3rd lines. He was not brought in to be a 3rd liner.  Let's not get ahead of ourselves.   Many have seemed to  lower the more »

Extrapolate those numbers and over a regular seaon Bergeron would have 34 goals, Marchand 18, and Smith 8.  The problem is not Marchand.  You could say that he a Bergeron combine for 52 goals despite more »

Weighted lottery is a dumb idea.  Each nonplayoff team should have an equal chance at the the top pick.  I could live with a system that ensures the bottom 3 overall picking no lower than 10th.  This more »
