Max Sauve to Chicago for Rob Flick. Wtf.   Neither really bothers me, though I enjoyed watching both play in Boston and wish they were still here. Boychuks hot start in NY makes it a but more painful, more »

Eh, obviously a disappointment because he was a first rounder, but not a bad guy to have on the fourth line or as a 13th forward. Defensively responsible and at least tries to be physical.

Didn't expect this to actually happen. Will be interesting to see how the pairings shape out now. The 2nd round picks could be spun into winger around the deadline if the collection of rookies can't g more »

Someone will have to go in order to sign both Krug and Smith, I'm surprised it still hasn't happened yet. I like that they have a few extra d-men who can step up in the case of an injury. It's proven more »

Not a very high percentage of 2nd round picks turn out to be regular NHL players. Smart of him to focus on his education instead.

I live in Portland. There's not much else to do here so the games often draw a decent crowd. Damn you people, let us have what little we have!

I don't think he really has any trade value to begin with. He's an aging bottom 6 center making over 3m a year.

I hope it's Markov because I can't stand him. I find him to be more annoying than Subban. Tough to tell from the fan perspective who is most worthy, though.

Castillo in center. Betts is part of a trade for SP (maybe Latos?). JBJ will likely be in AAA next year, and would be first up in the case of an injury.

I think they should try to trade for Latos if he's available this off-season. Reds need to move a pitcher, I think. If they could do this, and sign one of the better FA SP's the rotation would look go more »
