The sox are going to lose players from their 40 man roster.  Might as well trade them to cut cost and get something in return, even if it is cost and roster spot savings and "prospects" so they can FA more »

We can't have platoons all over the field.  Not enough roster spots, especially with papi taking up one with no position.  Fansisco doesn't make the roster unless we fail to sign someone for the posit more »

Don't underestimate how a better offense around him gives him: 1) more runners on base to distract the pitchers 2) more men on base to force the pitcher to throw pitches in the strike zone 3) more men more »

Right now rondo would be a better fit for cleveland than Irving IMHO, but Irving has ALOT more trade value.  Without considering trade exceptions is almost impossible to add players to make the number more »

My kingdom to get Beltre back...isn't he the medicine the Sox need right now.  A great defended with a good bat at a key position.  Get Beltre and resign Lester and I'll take my chances.

I prefer the 28 year old pablo sandoval who is a career .296, .348, .817 hitter who averages 15 homers, 27 doubles, and 70 rbi.  Also wouldn't mind hanley.   My dream...(I know keep dreaming) Castillo more »
