Everybody in the NFL knows that Ghost prevents big returns.  He also hits some great field goals, but usually he doesn't have to.  Finally he has been on a perennial killer team for years so he's prob more »

If these castoff OGs are considered malcontents by their old teams, BB might take a look at them.  OGs are college tackles that aren't fast enough to handle speedy pass rushers.  They take two years t more »

Branch was a classic malcontent in Buffalo.  Otherwise he's a pretty good player.

Malcontents:  Corey Dillon, Rice, Blount, Revis,...   Just treat them with some respect and play to their strengths.

For most of the game Seattle was playing without one of their starting linebackers.  The extra cornerback that they brought in was utterly lost, and Brady picked on him in particular all night.  Yes, more »

Problems:  Jacoby Jones has small hands and that makes him a running fumble problem.  He isn't fearless going over the middle.  He isn't super quick even if he's fast.  Leave him.

For $5 million, BB will pick up three guys that I haven't heard of but who will make the team.  Then he'll draft some runt-sized running back in the third round, or possibly pinch another Woodhead off more »

Who remembers the tuck rule? Oakland fans shall hate the Patriots forever (or at least until the Raiders slink out of Oakland in the dead of night) because in 2001 the refs properly followed a rule in more »

The Patriots are, in their own way, the most stable team in the NFL.  The owner is named Kraft, and if Jonathan picks up where Bob Kraft leaves off that will stay true.  The head coach is named Belich more »
