This draft looks really good, but like other posts I don't see all these guys slipping to us. I expect us to draft very heavy at OL and DL (3-4 total picks used at those 2 positions). I also see us dr more »

Gonzalez and Besler should have been listed here. If they play well and don't allow easy goal chances, we'll be able to get results.

Signed as a camp body because he knows the system. I would be surprised if he makes the team, unless he beats out Tavon Wilson as the #4 safety due to superior special teams play. Chung was awful in h more »

the defense is better today than yesterday.

Yes Collins can cover but his upside is as a pass rusher. He has all the tools to be a dominant edge rusher. I rather see him focus on that than drop back. He actually was a QB in high school. He's a more »

Right now the rest of this offseason's free agency / trades is all about getting a vet WR and pass rusher (DE, OLB). All the other positions and needs can be addressed in the draft. Amendola would hav more »

I think Thompkins would be in trouble. He was undrafted so the team has no major investment in him. Plus doesnt play special teams while Boyce does/can. I want to see us resign Blount now. He complete more »

It looks like the value in the draft is in the trenches, lows us to draft needs at OL and DT And not spend much money there compared to what the top free agents got at those positions. we could draft more »

Benching Gonclaves was stupid. a weak offseason and Heaps suspect coaching has this team in a risky spot to fall back this season.

i see strong safety written all over him.

He has been one of the big reasons our DL has been poor at pass rushing. Sorry to see him leave, but we have to move on. Freeing up $8 mil can be used for 2-3 other players that can help us next year more »

They cut Sopaga for 2.5 mil, Connolly is liekyl next with 4 mil. Gregory was 2 mil. Restructuring Wilfork will save another 3-4 mil. They got money and ways to get more.

this contract is basically the same as the franchise tag contract for CB. What a risky and ballsy move to let Talib walk in hopes of getting Revis like this. Agree with previous posts, go get Allen to more »

We've never been a Day 1 Free Agency player. Let's see how the next week plays out. But I felt we should've franchised Talib, get 1 more year out of him to try to win it. I'm also very disappointed we more »

Have little choice now but to go hard after revis. Denver is beefing up up their defense, we need to respond.

I don't have a good felling about this season, we may take a step back. A lot of other MLS teams improved themselves in the offseason while we did nothing. We replaced Agudelo with Bunberry, but thats more »

I think hiring Lombardi will help our drafting, mixing in his grading strategies will be key.

My wishlist, based on resigning Talib and Edelman and Blount (at cheap money in a very watered down RB FA market). SS-Ward or Donte Whitner or Antoine Bethea WR-Emmanuel Sanders or NicksDE-Justin Tuck more »

And in regards to it costing the team if they cut Amendola: "If they designate him as a June 1 cut, Amendola would count only $1.2 million in 2014 and $3.6 million in 2015." That math is not bad. We'r more »

They groomed Edelman to replace Welker and now that he's fulfilled his role they just can't let him walk away. Amendola must go one way or another so that whatever money's saved can be shifted to Edel more »

Somerville is the target. They've had to wait for the MBTA project that's extending the Green line there (beyond the Lechmere stop I believe). I'm also sure that Kraft is trying to play hardball, but more »

I think our first pick is OL. There are DL and SS free agents We should go after and use the draft elsewhere.

You realize that the only reason this is being considered is because Edelman stepped up and out performed both Amendola and Welker. The mistake last year was not giving Edelman a multi year deal last more »

They need his money to shift to Edelman. Really no choice, he's gotta go one way or another. Straight up for a 6-7th rounder is all we need, just take his contract off our books. I believe the bulk of more »
