Comment on: Playing%20the%20match%28up%29%20game
Odds are it will be the Ravens. THE PATRIOTS CANNOT FACE THE JETS. It is not possible. Jets win they are guaranteed the 5th seed and if they win, the Bengals by virtue of a loss will be the 4th seed.

If the Jets are in, they will face Cincy again and then the Colts. How amusing is that. The two teams that will lay over for them will get what they asked for, good or bad.

Forum Post: The ELITES have surpassed Belichick the GM...Could it be that the LEAGUE is simply catching up to the PATS?
Only the Chargers and Colts have scored more points than the Pats in the AFC. As for defense, they don't get sacks or force turnovers and they need better cornerbacks. That's about it. Don't throw the more »

The team was better at the end of last year with Cassell at QB. Not a reflection on Brady, it's just they played as a team. They had an identity and were more focused.

Comment on: 'Belichick had the numbers on his side'
Keep in mind with some of the stats being thrown about that the Colts would have been in 4th down territory themselves, thus their chances of moving the ball downfield theoretically should increase 25 more »

Didn't cost the game. Pats still let the Colts get a TD and pretty easily too (in fact three of them late). The game was lost to fate when the decision to punt or go for it came up. Can't blame BB for more »

Week after week after week after week, teams fail to put the Colts away, Manning gets the ball last and wins. The Colts had plenty of time. They let the clock run for nearly a minute. They would have more »

A lot of the people in the stadium are going to be Americans living abroad. As for the rest, once the novelty wears off, it is hard to imagine a franchise could exist there and consistently draw large more »

Funny how he blames various black men while it was Irsay and Goodell and ultimately his partners who put the real kabosh on him. Rush is not a racist. Yeah, right. more »

The Patriots are a pretty good team. They lost two games on the road to teams that were playing very well. But still, it isn't like Moss hasn't been open. They don't need to go undefeated to win the S more »

So Brady takes a shot to the head and Wright gets fined for grazing the facemask for half a second? I know you can't touch the QB in the head but that wasn't even a facemask. He pulled his hand away i more »

Another reason for keeping the guy -- among all the Patriots backs, he is the only one capable of breaking a 20-yard run. They should keep him for that or start trying to get him in space more. He mig more »

To be fair, there have not been a lot of holes for Maroney. I think when he is in the game, opponents key the run a bit more because in the past the Pats didn't pass as much with him out there. But wh more »

Thought Brady did a pretty good dance on that roughing penalty. He must have been practicing it after last year. The call seemed within the new rules though. Maybe the Ravens should read the new rule more »

Forum Post: Darius Butler should be the starting cornerback / not Whilhite
Your starting cornerbacks need to be able to tackle people. Anyone who thinks Butler should start hasn't seen him try to tackle. What is he? 178 pounds? When offenses are in a pass situation, he proba more »

I liked the forced fumbles, two by the defense and one by a defensive player on special teams. This team has not forced turnovers for years.
