It was very sad to see Sully go down to injury. Over the past month or so, it seems the Celtics are becoming more of a team and I believe we will see Thomas add to that aspect. While it is true that o more »

Maybe Smart is the point guard now and in the future. Maybe if we get Dragic, we find out if Smart is better off the ball or perhaps we have two quick guards both able to bring the ball up, pass, and more »

  • Forum Post: Lawson to Celtics?

    Posted 02/16/2015 01:47:17 EST

Maybe the idea is to use Lawson for the next 2 years at a reasonable salary while Smart grows into the position. Then Lawson becomes a free agent and we pass. I think this could work as long as Lawson more »

Who it Jared Sullinger? An overweight, out of shape, young player who thought the NBA would come easy to him. A 14 point, 7 rebound night does come pretty easy to him. I don't think he is willing to wo more »

I would almost bet good money that Sully comes into training camp next year in the best physical condition of his young career and will put up his best numbers. But still, what shoud the C's do? You h more »

The idea that Pressey would not make many NBA rosters is accurate IMHO. However, despite his limited size, he is quick enough to stay in front of nearly all guards. The problem develops when they shoo more »

It seems like every team that shows substantial improvement has one or two veterans around to teach and motivate the other players. Both Bass and Prince have a strong work ethic. I would guess that th more »

So many on this board seem to base their views on a handful of games. James Young has talent and I would not be surprised to see the Celtics put it to good use at some point. My guess is that the C's more »
