I echo LeisureDad's sentiments. Grew up in the Springfield area and live in Boston now. Red Rose is the awesome, as is Joe's in Northampton. I have to get 1 (or both) every time I go home to visit fam more »

Highland Kitchen is the best restaurant in town. Awesome food, great drinks and a cool place to hang out. I love movies at the Somerville theatre too. Cheaper than the big places and they serve bee more »

Last Time I checked didn't Newton Centre have a green line station as well as ample bus servie? You can take public transit and stay as long as you'd like and it will only cost you a couple bucks for more »
