What if you think Boychuk can develop into a #2 D and Bartkowski into a #3 D? And THEY can go sign Niskanen or someone else? Almost like breaking down your 5.5MM cap hit.

Bash if you must...but what about : Boychuk 2A (3.4), McQuaid 3A (1.6) + Bartkowski 3B for Yandle 1A (5.5) ... This would keep the D corp at 6 (not 8) and for 500K you get a better DMan with Boston ro more »

The city of Montreal is burning right now (I can see smoke from my window) asking that Shawn be suspended for his classless act of spraying PK in the third. Apparently, should have been a penalty shot more »

Since Boston has the higher seed, yet a lot of people are calling for the Detroit upset, does that make the Bruins the underdog? I think Detroit shows up game 1 and steals it, Bruins learn, adapt and more »

In the short term, to add some veteran help, wonder what happened to Redden? I know Kaberle is in Europe. Anything to bring Chara's numbers down.

With Seidenberg gone for the season, Miller will stay for the year, no need to send him back down. They sent him down because they didn't have space - now they do.

Rask gets 7-7.5MM.
Alfredsson, Calrk McArthur or Clarkson? 5.5?
Leaves about 1MM for Redden? Khudo?
Next year bump up ... resign Bergie for 8MM (that's up 3MM), Krejci goes to 6-6.5.

Not Vinny. He is looking for 5/6 years at 5/6MM per. He knows what he is worth and why settle for less when other teams are willing to pay up?

After Chicago scores to tie game 2-2, call a timeout to settle everyone down.

Bruins win game 6 ... And my gut says Chicago wins a close one in game 7. However ... close games are called close for a reason. So it could get down to a bounce or OT, so yeah Bruins have a shot in C more »

The only debate going on in my head is who's got the advantage? Chicago - they beat Rask and they know how to beat the Bruins and 2/3 in their home. Bruins - they never gave up and they know the only more »
