  i would think that the quetion depends on the cast and makeup of the platers srrounding the shortstop    if the rest of the team has good hitters ...you can get away with a weak hitting shortstop

  seems like a nice problem to have......where to put all the talent......a lot better than worrying about where to hide the lack of it

  not grabbing hamilton was a mistake.......talk about adding pop to the middle of the lineup....he was well worth the price...and alone he is far superior in the lineup compared to victorino and gomes more »

  i would have like to have added hamilton and skipped vitorino and gomes....i think hamilton alone  would have broght us far more than the other two combined...far more....he has the pop we needed and more »

  i think ross is well worth his price tag.....also didnt understand why we didnt resign him......played his butt off.....kept his mouth shut.....good hitter and seemed like a good guy
