I keep hearing that they want to pursue an extra infielder and a centerfielder.  The way the team is constructed right now, the math won't work.  And trading a pitcher won't make it better.  We can as more »

I hear people speculating about bringing this guy or that guy.  But then the numbers don't necessarily work out.  So people say get rid of this guy or that guy. Assuming they carry 12 pitchers and two more »

Good move on Mujica.  That probably means that Bailey is not likely to be back (they can negotiate with him.).  Unless he is open to a minor league contract and certainly not the 4.1 that they would h more »

I don't think they should bury Breslow.  He has been too good for them this season.  But can you see them trotting him out to face someone like Carpenter tonight with runners in scoring position.  I'm more »

That was a good point on Breslow.  I would not give up on the guy.  He had not a good year, but a great year.  If not for Uehara and his cartoonish year, we would be singing Breslow's praises. I know more »

Doubt this will happen, but.... If they win tonight, maybe they start Peavy in six and save Lackey for seven.  If they lose, keep it the way it is.  Another possible option is Doubront in seven. What more »
