Man’s best friend is also a great workout buddy! They’ll never bail on a workout, are always encouraging you to keep going, and they won’t try to talk to you while you’re knee-deep in squats. Channel some of your dog’s never-ending energy for your benefit.

In this Work It Out, Boston video, Boston.com correspondent Alexa Pozniak attended a session at the Boston Common, where Fit Doggie and Me trainers are hosting free trial classes from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. on June 21 and 22.

Sign up for a session, and learn more about Fit Doggie and Me’s nutrition, personal training, and coaching services at their website, FitDoggieAndMe.com.
