Two of the many great things we love about Boston are the free fitness classes in the summer, and the great organizations that put them on for residents!
On Wednesday afternoons this summer, participate in a free bootcamp on The Rose F. Kennedy Greenway hosted by trainers from nonprofit Innercity Weightlifting.
The gym and personal training program puts young men in Boston on a career track for personal training who may have been lost to innercity violence and crime. By offering the free classes, the nonprofit’s founder Josh Feiman hopes to build awareness and give back to the city.
Classes are running every Wednesday throughout the summer from 12 to 1 p.m.
