Hillary Clinton made an impromptu appearance on last night’s episode of “The Colbert Report,’’ where the former secretary of state went head-to-head with host Stephen Colbert over who’s met more famous faces.

Clinton dropped in on Colbert during his segment on her latest book, “Hard Choices,’’ which the late-night host called “656 pages of shameless name-dropping.’’

The surprise appearance turned into a name-dropping challenge for the ages, as both Clinton and Colbert rattled off lists of big-time celebrities and world-renowned dignitaries who they’ve gotten a chance to meet with over the years.

“I will have you know, madam, I once did an entire show with President Bill Clinton,’’ Colbert said towards the end of the segment.

“Oh! I hate to break this to you, but I’ve met him too,’’ Clinton quickly replied without missing a beat.

Other celebrities names the pair dropped during the skit included Oprah, Paul McCartney, Meryl Streep, and George Clooney.
