Acclaimed Brazilian artists Os Gemeos (“the Twins”) are creating two outdoor murals in Boston in conjuction with their first solo exhibition in the United States, set to open Aug. 1 at the Institute of Contemporary Art. The larger of the two murals, on the Rose F. Kennedy Greenway in Dewey Square, and the smaller mural slated for the Revere Hotel Boston Common, constitute a public art project the museum has spearheaded with the duo.

Born Otávio and Gustavo Pandolfo, Os Gemeos will create the murals over the next week. The Revere Hotel mural will be on the hotel’s Stuart Street exterior, and the Greenway mural will be on the Dewey Square Air Intake Structure, sited between Summer and Congress Streets.

On Wednesday the artists were at the Emerald Lounge at the Revere Hotel to celebrate the upcoming ICA show.
