See the stars up close for free on Fridays at the Museum of Science

In a galaxy far, far away - the parking garage roof of the Museum of Science - you can look up at the night sky through a computer-controlled, Celestron CGE 1100 Schmidt Cassegrain telescope. Stargazing at the Museum takes place Friday nights at the Gilliland Observatory through the end of November, weather permitting. The stargazing is free, the only cost is parking.

And if you can’t tell a star from an overhead plane, there are Museum folks up on the roof who can. Call 617-589-0267 Friday at 5:30 p.m. to get updated information for the evening.
