Aerosmith performs on the “Today” show Friday morning

Where in the world are Joe Perry, Steven Tyler, and the rest of Aerosmith?

On Friday the Boston rockers perform on the “Today” show as part of the Toyota Concert Series. According to the show, Aerosmith has never performed live on morning television. Really?

Then on Monday the band will play somewhere on the streets of our city around noon, but where exactly is a secret until Monday morning. We first reported this last week. There are bound to be a couple of plugs - one to get out and vote in Tuesday’s election, another for Tuesday’s release of Aerosmith’s new album, “Music From Another Dimension!”

The timing is perfect for Tyler, who might be feeling a little lonely if this news about him and his fiancee, Erin Brady, is true.
