With Snowmaggedon bearing down, the Boston Symphony Orchestra has canceled a performance scheduled for Friday at 1:30 p.m. Conductor Christoph von Dohnanyi was set to lead the orchestra in Brahms, Sibelius, and Beethoven — a program that, reviewing the BSO on Thursday night, David Weininger described as “well crafted to show off the synergetic relationship of the conductor and orchestra.”
In an announcement, the BSO said patrons can get ticket exchanges or refunds by calling 888-266-1200 or visiting the Symphony Hall box office anytime in the next several weeks.
