Framingham’s Danforth Museum and School changes its name to Danforth Art

A move to a new building is on the horizon for the almost 40-year-old institution that is working toward national recognition. Judging from its awards, the best is yet to come. Executive director Katherine French has won awards for curatorial excellence for exhibits that “explore historic and contemporary Boston Expressionism,” and she has been named “Best Curator of Locally Made Art” at the Boston Art Awards.
