Capsule review: A converted 250-year-old farmhouse nestled in residential Duxbury, the tavern and dining room ooze a quaint charm. Chef Marilyn Brunoli has created an eclectic and excellent menu with choices such as New Zealand rack of lamb, almond-crusted salmon (served with ginger-brandy cream sauce), filet mignon au poivre (served with mushroom-cognac cream sauce). Homemade chowders, soups, and desserts. Music most weekends.

Charming place. Outstanding food and wine menu. The best Filet Mignon I've ever had.
