Boston Globe Review ( explain this rating )
Not your dad’s Tibetan food     by Denise Taylor, Globe correspondent - June 19, 2005
Capsule review: Inside this pretty little storefront in Davis Square, owners Dechen and Choesang Martsa serve up the best traditional dishes from their native Tibet (like tasty momo dumplings and oh-so-comforting amdo tsel beef and potato stir-fry) as well as favorites from India where both were raised (including superb pan-fried okra) and their own improvisations born of their love affair with cooking (such as the flavorful chicken and apple curry). Fresh-made breads, interesting non-alcoholic drinks, and unusual desserts (try the bhagtsamagu!) round out the many offerings, and sub-shop-cheap prices make it all the more fun to experiment.
