Boston Globe Review
( explain this rating )
Capsule review:
The decor may be '70s-era faux wood paneling and nautical tchotchkes, but the food at this favorite of Gloucester locals is fantastic, especially the fish. The chef and owner used to be a fisherman, and he clearly knows seafood. The prosciutto-wrapped scallop appetizer is a perfect combination of sweet, tender scallops and salty, crisp prosciutto. The shrimp scampi and the scallops and shrimp marinara, both served with linguine, are winners; the pasta, made on the premises, is always perfectly al dente. And the servings are so huge you'll have leftovers for at least one more meal. (8/4/05, ANN CORTISSOZ)

I am a local and I eat there as much as I can. Now my entire family are regulars. The fish chowder is sooooo good and the service is friendly!

Best little Hideaway Restaurant in Gloucester. Huge Portions for small $$$. BYOB is even better.
