My super burrito chicken was not so great at all, though all the elements of a nice burrito were there. The chicken was not very flavorsome. The guy making the burrito was friendly. My real problem is with the cost being jacked up by a dollar. I guess there were "extras", though these are not listed anywhere. The person at the cash register never looked at me and didn't talk to anyone in the service line, so how did she know what "extras" I had? I sure didn't. When I asked her, she just ignored me. Overall: Not recommended

The best Mexican food in Boston. The food is spectacular and always served and prepared amazingly fast. Those who claim that the service is bad couldn't be more wrong, as you should be decisive when you order and not mumble. Probably the best value as well, under 5 dollars for a super burrito.

I live in Boston, but, I go to school in Brookline and this place is the best. This place is really good, personally I would try it.

Bad service and no idea what the food actually costs. I ordered a small chicken burrito that was listed as $3.35 on the menu board. It came to $4.45 at the cash register. I told the food preparer that I'd take whatever was included in the price. He asked if I wanted sour cream, I said yes and no to guacamole. He asked my choice of beans and I said black. That was it. I asked the cashier how she arrived at $4.45. She said guacamole. I told her I did not order guacamole. She grunted that it was for sour cream. $1.00 for Sour Cream???? Come on. I should have left without my food, but I was in a hurry and needed to eat lunch. Don't buy anything at this place unless you are sure of the prices!!!!! It would help if the employees could speak a little English and not be so rude. This was the Porter Square location, which I would avoid. Qdoba is a short walk from here....go there!

Simply the best burrito, ever. I could eat one every day. oh, wait, I do. Those steamed tortillas are to die for, and the picante is perfect.

Every time I go there I end up feeling sick for hours. I will NEVER go again. Who puts American cheese on a burrito, anyway?

Breathtaking. I drive everyday for 30 mins to get my burrito.

People, this is bad, bland food! Even their sauces are bland. I'm from Florida and lived in Texas and while I live here, I resolve to make my own food.

Super carnitas, no beans - salsa and guac - one of the top 5 foods I want in my mouth daily.

I have been a fan of annas since I moved to Boston 4 years ago, but recently, the MIT location is having problems. The place is short-staffed, the lunch-time burrito maker is too fast, the super burritos feel like regulars when he gets done, and they aren't living up to the quality and friendly staff that I have experienced at annas in the past. The Porter, Davis, Allston, and Brookline locations have great staff and make a great product, but the MIT location has been horrible at lunch recently (8/06). Avoid it if you can, try Boca, they know how to stuff a burrito.

Undeniably, this is the tastiest Mexican fast food in all of Boston, and the price is more than reasonable. Even after living in San Diego for three years where there's a burrito place nestled between every other house, nothing compares to Anna's in terms of flavor, ingredients, price and all around scrumptiousness. Sample a delicious quesadilla, or go big, and try a Super Burrito.

The food is bland and unremarkable (as most Mexican food in New England tends to be). The waitstaff are rude, harried, and don't speak any English. But for what it's worth, you can get a nice-sized burrito for $4.00 and a full meal with chips and a drink for maybe $6.00. Still, Anna's is a lunch counter, and a solid choice if a cheap and tasty fast food meal is what you want.

Whoever compared Anna's to Chipotle is severly mistaken. Chipotle is a very large national chain and it taste like one. The rice is dry, and aftermath of a meal there is long and arduous. Basically it's the same exact thing as Qdoba, if not worse. And I'm not seeing Qboda put anna's out of business. In fact Qboda is struggling after overexpanding in boston ala Krispy Kream. Bottom line is Anna's delivers an amazing tasting burrito, very quickly, and very very cheap. The line is usually out the door, but that only means about a 2-3 minute wait, use those fleighting moments in line to deciede exactly what you want, and speak clearly and loudly when ordering. The service is great if you know what you want and tell them clearly, just know that things move fast (that's part of the charm). Best Burritos in town by far!
