The Mad Decent Block Party tour is hitting 22 cities this summer and is set to take over Boston on Sunday, Aug. 10.

Billed as “America’s Biggest Block Party,” the outdoor music fest is bringing a stacked line-up to its show at the Blue Hills Bank Pavilion next weekend. Headlining the Boston stop of the tour will be up-and-coming hip-hop artist Chance The Rapper.

The 21-year-old Chicago native quickly flew onto critics’ radar screens when he released his second mixtape, “Acid Rap,” last year. Chance’s sophomore release, which was given away for free online, was so well-received that it landed on Rolling Stone’s list of the 50 best albums of 2013.

Another big name set to perform at the block party’s trip to the Hub is Los-Angeles based DJ and music producer Diplo.

The 35-year-old EDM star, who’s also the lead member of Major Lazer, released his latest solo compilation album, “Random White Dude Be Everywhere,” on July 29. You can check out the full collection of tracks embedded below.

Rounding out the lineup is fellow Major Lazer member Walshy Fire, EDM duo Flosstradamus, Grammy-nominated French star DJ Snake, and Canadian DJ Lunice. Children of the Night, GTA, and Wave Racer will also perform at the show.

The Boston stop of the Mad Decent Block Party tour will kick off at 2 p.m. Tickets to the show start at $49.50 and are available on LiveNation.com. For more details check out maddecentblockparty.com.
