Forbes has revealed its annual list of the World’s 100 Most Powerful Women and this year’s selection includes a slew of celebrity names.

Supermodel Gisele Bundchen, who sometimes calls Boston home, was ranked at No. 89 with $42 million of reported earnings as of June 2013. She moved up six spots from her 95th ranking in 2013.

The most powerful entertainer on the list is Oprah Winfrey (No. 14) — worth a whopping $3 billion, followed by Beyonce (No. 17), Sofia Vergara (No. 32), Ellen DeGeneres ( No. 46) and Angelina Jolie, who rounds out the top 50. Lady Gaga came in at No. 67.

Politically-tied figureheads like German Chancellor Angela Merkel (No. 1), who has topped the list nine of the past 10 years, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton (No. 6), and first lady Michelle Obama (No. 8) landed in the Top 10.

Tech-savvy businesswomen who have found their names in recent headlines, such as Facebook COO and “Lean In” author Sheryl Sandberg (No. 9) and Yahoo! CEO Marissa Mayer (No. 18), appeared on the list. Sandberg, who is worth a reported $1 billion, fell three spots from last year's sixth-ranked position, while Mayer moved up 14 positions from 32 to 18.
