Melanie Griffith has reportedly filed for a divorce from Antonio Banderas.
According to TMZ, the actress’s legal documentation claims the ending of their 18-year marriage is due to “irreconcilable differences.” Griffith is also allegedly seeking spousal support, child support, as well as sole physical and joint legal custody of their daughter Stella, the couple’s only child together.
Banderas and Griffith began dating after filming the comedy “Two Much” together in 1995. The pair wed in May of 1996, a month after Banderas divorced his first wife, Ana Leza.
This would be Griffith’s fourth divorce, as she was previously married twice to “Miami Vice” star Don Johnson and once to “Scarface” actor Steven Bauer.
