Robert Downey Jr. could be catching up to his billionaire film character, Tony Stark, in terms of net worth.

“Iron Man 3” earned an estimated $174 million in its opening weekend in May 2013, going on to gross more than $400 million by Sept. 6.

Marvel’s “Iron Man” and “Avengers” films certainly helped Downey Jr. rake in the dough. The comic franchise’s films featuring RDJ have amassed $4 billion at the global box office alone.

Downey Jr. also came in at No. 10 on the Forbes Celebrity 100 list this year.

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson came in at No. 2 with an estimated $52 million earned, thanks to the “Fast & Furious 6.” The former WWE wrestler stars in the upcoming “Hercules,” which hits theaters Friday, July 25.

Rounding out the top 5 are Bradley Cooper (No. 3, $46 million), Leonardo DiCaprio (No. 4, $39 million), and Chris Hemsworth (No. 5, $37 million).
