Olivia Wilde is no stranger to expressing how she feels via Twitter, and we’re pretty sure we know her stance on breastfeeding in public thanks to a photoshoot the “Rush” actress did for Glamour’s September cover story.
The 30-year-old posted one of the photos taken by photographer Patrick Demarchelier for the magazine to her Twitter account this afternoon. In it, Wilde wears a Roberto Cavalli gown while breastfeeding her 3-month-old son Otis, seated at what looks like a diner booth.
“Being shot with Otis is so perfect because any portrait of me right now isn’t complete without my identity as a mother being a part of that. Breast-feeding is the most natural thing. I don’t know, now it feels like Otis should always be on my breast,” Wilde said in the Glamour interview. “It felt like we were capturing that multifaceted woman we’ve been discussing—that we know we can be. You can be someone who is at once maternal and professional and sexy and self-possessed. [But] I mean, I certainly don’t really look like that when I’m [typically] breast-feeding. And there’s usually a diaper involved.”
Wilde and fiance Jason Sudeikis welcomed Otis, their first child, on April 20.
