Disney’s “The Little Mermaid” was released in the US just about 25 years ago (November, 1989) when there was no Twitter.
But when the animated undersea classic was shown nationwide on ABC Family Saturday night, fans took to the social network to share their enthusiasm for Ariel, Eric, Ursula, Sebastian, and the rest of the memorable characters. Yes, The Little Mermaid was trending.
