Now that’s what I’m talking about.
Lionsgate and Color Force put out a teaser trailer for “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay — Part 1” a couple of weeks ago, and it was pretty boring.
Today, the pair released a follow-up second teaser and this one has some chops.
It starts with a Peeta and Johanna-flanked President Snow reciting a typically positive Panem message, before he is interrupted by Beetee from the recently resurrected District 13.
“From this great nation, never have we been more unified because now more than ever, Panem is speaking with one voice,” Snow starts.
He continues by saying, “The Capitol and the districts bound together in solidarity,” before a voice from beyond begins to break in saying “test.”
That voice belongs to Beetee, who cuts into the video feed and ominously states, “This is a pirate transmission from District 13 with a message. The Mockinjay lives.”
There we go Lionsgate, now give us more. And by more, I mean Katniss.
“The Hunger Games: Mockingjay — Part 1” is slated to hit theaters Nov. 21.
