Don’t stop believing, folks.

“It’s not true,” Colfer’s rep said in a statement made directly to TVGuide.com. “His Twitter account has been hacked. He will indeed be back for the final season.”

A separate statement was issued by 20th Century Fox, claiming it had “been alerted that Chris Colfer’s Twitter account has been hacked.

“Rumors of his dismissal from Glee could not be further from the truth,” the statement continued. “We love Chris and look forward to working with him again this season.”

Gleeks may have to wait longer than expected for its sixth and final season. According to “Glee” actress Jane Lynch, the show could potentially come back midseason per an Entertainment Weekly report.
