O’Donnell co-hosted “The View” for a season before departing under “less-than-friendly circumstances” in 2007, writes The Wrap.

O’Donnell has hosted a pair of her own talk shows, “The Rosie Show” (2011-2012) and “The Rosie O’Donnell Show” (1996-2002), in the past.

The O’Donnell news comes just three days after co-hosts Sherri Shepherd and Jenny McCarthy told viewers during a rare live broadcast of “The View” that they are both leaving the show.

McCarthy, who is engaged to New Kids on the Block performer and “Blue Bloods” actor Donnie Wahlberg, revealed that she already has another project in the works.

“I’ve taken a new job that will allow me to do what I do best. Which is talk without having to interrupt anyone,” McCarthy said, per a Parade post “I will be announcing it in the next few weeks and I couldn’t be more grateful for the fans like you guys who supported us so stay tuned…even if it does compete with ‘The View’.”
