Over the weekend Freddie Prinze Jr. made some pretty heinous claims about “24” star Kiefer Sutherland in a Comic-Con interview with ABC News, going so far as to say his interaction with Sutherland made him want to “quit the business.”

Sutherland’s rep responded to FPJ’s critique on Monday afternoon with a short and sweet statement via Fox News:

“Kiefer worked with Freddie Prinze, Jr.more [sic] than five years ago, and this is the first he has heard of Freddie‘s grievances. Kiefer enjoyed working with Freddie and wishes him the best.”

Back in 2009, Sutherland had nothing but kind words for Prinze Jr., who starred in films such as “She’s All That,” in a Parade interview, saying “We have some great actors joining us — Mykelti Williamson is the head of CTU, Freddie Prinze Jr. is playing my partner. So, it’s this great balance between something that’s new and what fans will find familiar.”
