As part of the activities surrounding the unveiling of the Boston Irish Famine Memorial, the committee put together a commemorative book to describe the two- year effort to build the Boston Irish Famine Memorial. The book contains photos of the work in progress, letters from Irish public officials, the text for the eight narrative plaques, and a list of every individual, group and business making a donation to the project as of June 1, 1998.

The book has a limited edition of just 750 copies, and is available by contacting the committee. All proceeds from the book will go toward the Memorial maintenance fund.
