Eating steak is good. Eating 144 ounces of steak is not.
That’s a pretty basic, rational thought. But don’t tell Molly Schuyler. She’s not having any of that nonsense. Mostly because she’s too busy eating two enormous steak dinners in under 15 minutes.
The Amarillo Globe-News reported that Schuyler went to the Big Texan Steak Ranch in Amarillo, Texas and earned the hatred of cows across the world by downing two 72-ounce steaks, two baked potatoes, two sides of shrimp, two salads, and two bread rolls in less than a quarter of an hour.
She’s 5-foot-7 and only weighs 125 pounds, according to the report. But don’t let the looks fool you — Schuyler is no stranger to a big meal. She’s a competitive eater and has done a similar steak challenge before.
A video from January of this year showed her consuming a 72-ounce steak at a restaurant in Oregon. She finished in under seven minutes.
According to the Globe-News, she intends to head back to the Big Texan Steak Ranch and try for three 72-ounce steak dinners in one sitting. Gross. You can reach me at firstname.lastname@example.org. Follow me @dougsaffir
