Ticketing their own

About half the towns in Massachusetts write traffic tickets to their own minority residents in greater proportions than their share of the driving-age population of the town. This chart ranks towns by that disparity. A disparity of 1, as in Holliston (ranked No. 121), shows an equal distribution of minorities among the ticketed and the general population.

Note: Includes only towns that wrote at least 100 tickets to town residents.
