Q. I am redoing my dining room, and would like to find a corner cabinet that would match or nearly match an old one I have from Maine.
I failed in an attempt to order one at a lumber store. Where can I find a corner cabinet?

J.H., Waltham

A. Huh? Some lumber store!

Any lumber store worth its salt can order a corner cabinet from Brosco, or Brockway-Smith, one of the largest wholesalers of lumber items in the Northeast.

Brosco would not be happy if any lumber store failed to order something from the Brosco catalog. Go to a different lumber store, or talk to the manager.

You may not have a big choice -- Brosco offers four designs -- and may not get a match to your old cabinet. To have a cabinet made to match the old would be several times the cost of a Brosco cabinet.
