Barbecued pork burgers
(From "A Passion for Barbecue")
2 pounds ground pork
1/4 cup buttermilk
2 teaspoons seasoned salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon ground oregano
1/4 cup minced onion
Combine all ingredients. Mix thoroughly and form into 1/4-pound patties.
Sear on grill, then reduce flame and cook over direct heat, about 10 minutes
each side. Serves four to six.
